B Corp

Spinlock quickly identified that B-Corp aligns with Spinlock Values. Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Rather than focussing on accountability of just one part of a business, say sustainability, B-Corp measures across many facets of our business.

 

B-Corp helps businesses develop and work as a force for good and with purpose. Purpose-driven goals creating benefit for all stakeholders, not just shareholders. B-Corp ensures business is conducted as if people and place matter and products, practices, and profits should aspire to do no harm and benefit all.

 

The process of certification is 2 years. During which time we are recoding what we do against benchmarks. Benchmarking the whole business and of course hoping to exceed benchmarks. Suppliers, Customers, Governance, Staff and Community are all challenged and audited as part of the assessment.
